Welcome to L’Heritage!

My name is Alena, and I, alongside my co-founder Julien, am pleased to welcome you to our little slice of France, nestled in the charming Chowder Bay on the Sydney Harbour.

I’ve worked in hospitality for 25 years, including the joy of owning two brasseries in Paris and Frenchy’s Café in Mosman. This has afforded me the pleasure of immersing myself in the intricate world of French cuisine. Having spent much of my life living and working in France, I’ve cultivated a deep appreciation for the culture, the cuisine, and creating that authentic Parisian atmosphere right here in Sydney! That’s why you’ll find that each element of our dining experience has been thoughtfully considered, right down to the décor, personally sourced by me from the quaint flea markets of Paris.

Julien, our Head Chef and the genius behind our delicious menu, was trained in some of Paris’s finest culinary schools. Later, he had the opportunity to refine his skills in Michelin-starred establishments across Europe and Asia. Julien brings an unparalleled creative touch to our menu, infusing each dish with the very essence of French gastronomic passion and tradition.
