L’Heritage is the fourth restaurant adventure for husband and wife duo, Pierre and Sydney-born Alena, including two brasseries in Paris and the much loved Frenchy’s Cafe Mosman. This time they have partnered with Julien Audibert-Lebon, close friend and chef of 25 years with a flair for traditional French cuisine.
Julien started his career in bustling Parisienne kitchens at the age of 16. He specialises in fine dining cuisine, as has worked side by side with some of the world’s best chefs, including Dominique Grel, Stephane Vieux, Jean-Michel Guilloteau, Pierre Hermé, Patrice Hardy, and Marc Davis.
Now a local Sydney sider Julien brings his love of cuisine to our table at L’Heritage.
“I love creating dishes with balance and contrast. Hot and cold, crispy and soft, sweet and savoury. I love experimenting with flavours and textures that evoke your senses and memories.” – Julien

“With recipes and knowledge handed down through the generations, French cooking is my passion” – Julien
L’Héritage found its name late one evening when the trio were sharing a home cooked meal and a bottle of Bordeaux or two… or three! The evening was spent dreaming up their new business venture, talking about the beautiful location, the history of French wine and traditional recipes. The over all theme became very clear. It is all about ‘heritage’.
Thus was born their desire to bring French heritage to your table in an Australian heritage location… oh so Héritage.
