L’Héritage is a French restaurant in Sydney’s Mosman, perched on the wharf at Chowder Bay in a historic ex-Navy drill hall surrounded by national park and harbour views.

Run by Alena and Head Chef Julien Audibert-Lebon, our menu is Julien’s personal interpretation of the meals he loves to eat in the bistros and brasseries of Paris. Classic French cuisine made with fresh Australian produce, served with warmth and without pretence.

From Escargot and beef tartare to Canard a l’Orange, caviar, oysters and dry-aged steaks from the grill, every dish pays tribute to the French classics. Pair your meal with a selection from our curated wine list.

Whether you are here for a quiet dinner for two, a long waterfront lunch or a special celebration, our goal is to make every visit feel like an escape to France. No passport required.

We are excited to welcome you to our French bistro in Chowder Bay, on Sydney’s lower North Shore.

Our venue is in a unique waterfront location surrounded by national park and Sydney Harbour. Guest parking is located on Chowder Bay Road above the venue. It is limited and metered.

We suggest carpooling, arriving by bus, taxi or water taxi for the most relaxed arrival. Water taxis and charter vessels may drop off or pick up at Chowder Bay Wharf.
